Fishing rules for Lögdö Wild
In Lögdö Wild, there are both "Put and Take" waters and other nice lakes. The area is vast, approximately 100,000 hectares, offering many great fishing spots to choose from. To ensure everyone enjoys a pleasant fishing experience, we kindly ask you to follow our rules, which are based on common sense and respect for both nature and fellow fishermen.
All fishing is at your own risk, and the most important rule is common sense.Read pur rulse carefully and have a nice fishing experience.
Allowed catch quantity
- Do not take more than three fish per day. This rule ensures that everyone that wish to fish here have a fair chance to catch fish during their visit.
- Trout, Arctic char, and rainbow trout shorter than 25 cm must be gently unhooked and returned to the water.
- Vialampi: Maximum 2 fish per day may be kept.
- Other fishing waters: Maximum 3 fish per day may be kept (applies to rainbow trout, trout, and Arctic char).
Fishing permit requirement
- Fisherman are required to carry a fishing permit and present it to fishing supervisors upon request. The permit serves as the payment confirmation received upon booking.
- The fishing permit, which is personal, is valid only for recreational fishing with one rod per angler. The rod must be within close reach during fishing. If fishing is interrupted, such as when returning to your caravan or camper, the fishing session is considered paused during that time.
- In the case of violations of fishing rules or if an angler forgets their fishing permit, the fishing supervisor has the right to suspend the angler from further fishing.
Fishing equipment rules
- Fishing from a boat is prohibited except in Stor Laxsjön and Stor Skälsjön.
- Float tube fishing is permitted Tuesday through Thursday in all lakes. For float tube fishing, only a float tube permit needs to be purchased.
- Net fishing and “baiting” (using bait to attract fish) are prohibited.
- For bottom fishing, power bait, gulp, and similar are not allowed. However, worm and maggot may be used.
- Using more than one piece of equipment or overfishing may result in a two-year suspension.
Rule Changes
Changes or additions to the rules may be made during the fishing season. Changes will be announced via signs on-site and through this website.
Violations
Violations of the rules that result in revoked or invalidated fishing permits do not entitle the angler to a full or partial refund of the fee paid. The same applies in the event of Force majeure, meaning unforeseeable circumstances beyond control.
